This is our Cowardly Lion Nose. Like most of our pieces, this prosthetic appliance was sculpted on a generic adult male lifecast, so it will fit most faces. The main picture is the hot foam latex version applied and painted in yellows and tans. This nose has a droopy look, emulating the Cowardly Lion from the classic film: The Wizard of Oz. It sits low onto the cheeks and has a large rounded nose, it's a must have for any production of The Wizard of Oz. It is in one piece.
The default price includes one unpainted (blank) Cowardly Lion Nose prosthetic in hot foam latex.
You can choose which material you'd like it made in by selecting it above. It is available in slush cast latex and hot foam latex. Visit our FAQ for the differences between these materials.
To finish it, you can paint it with makeup, or pax paint, to make it resemble the Cowardly Lion from the Wizard of Oz. Paint it in tans, browns and yellows with a dark brown nose to resemble the character. Oddly enough, it could pass as a cartoony bulldog if it were painted differently.

Contact lenses, ears and other prosthetic pieces other than the Cowardly Lion Nose that are shown are not included in pricing. Combining the Cowardly Lion Nose with different ears, chins or forehead pieces can give it a whole different look and expression. Some of the above photos feature an older version of our Feline Prop Ears put onto a headband.
Options:
- Optional Whiskers: We will embed plastic whiskers into the nose, there are options for transparent or black whiskers and different quantities are available.
- Optional Single Colour Paint: We will spray ONE single colour of PAX paint over the entire prosthetic as a base coat. Enter ONE colour in the single colour paint field. For example: "yellowed tan." This option requires 1 to 2 days for production time.
- Optional Full Custom Paint: We will fully paint and detail the piece with multiple colours and shading, using PAX paints. Enter a detailed description in the full custom paint field. For example: "Tan & brown shading, dark brown nose and lip." You can also e-mail us an image or send links to reference pictures. This option requires 2 to 4 days for production time.
